Surrey Art School – Summer School August 2016

Dear All

In August 2016 we will be launching our Summer School for Youth and Adult Classes in Art and Photography. Run by artist-teacher Eleanor Green who moved to the area last year from the buzz of East London, Eleanor will bring her experience working with Adults and teachers in galleries such as The Whitechapel Gallery and her 7 years teaching experience in London secondary schools (A-level Fine Art, GCSE, Arts Award, BTEC)  to this contemporary, fresh, unique and for the summer, outdoor educational experience.

Using a quaint Shepherd’s hut on Green Lane Farm in Newdigate – near Dorking, Redhill and Horsham- and a temporary workshop space, we have tailored workshops into a series of classes for both Youth (11-18) and Adult education. Workshops will be 2-3 hours long and include refreshments including home baked goods.

Experience the great outdoors and learn to record the world through modern technologies such as the I-phone or Digital SLR through to more traditional practices including watercolours, oils and print-making processes all with a contemporary twist!
